Our Story

The business side...

Well really, my story! As mentioned, I started this business after I planned my own wedding because, (unpopular opinion) I loved every second of it! I was the bride making schedules for my vendors, family, and wedding party because I was that into it.

In the sadness of my own wedding being over, I came to realize I wanted to bring my passion for it all to fruition. I finally knew what I wanted to be when I “grew up”! At the time, I was in my 8th year of teaching high school math, where to be completely honest, I had been unhappy since year 1!

I have always been a servant at heart, it’s when I’m my happiest, truest self. It’s where I thrive most. I was a server for 12 years and it was the best job I ever had (until now!) because I never felt like I was working. I love problem solving on my feet, making schedules, checking all the boxes, organizing, and the feeling of helping others. That combined with the fact that I love love (nope, not a typo), confirmed that I was meant for the wedding world!

So I eagerly started shadowing and assisting other amazing coordinators, learning from a boss lady mentor, all until I was comfortable enough to take the leap on my own and start my own business! I dove right in with 16 weddings my first season and haven’t looked back since!

I’ve unknowingly been preparing myself for this new role for years, and I’m beyond grateful that the opportunity is here! I am so excited to meet all of my future couples!

The personal side…

I grew up in Honey Brook, PA. It’s a small town that fueled my passion for travel. I traveled a ton from 16-29 years old thanks to summers off from teaching (at least it gave me that!). After having my daughter at 30, my travels slowed down. Which, I am okay with because every moment spent with her and my husband are my favorite moments of all! They’re my world, and I’m excited to show her my passion for traveling, and to start our adventures one day when we are both ready!

In addition to loving my family, I have the best, most supportive friends in the world! I have my B.S. in Mathematics, and my Masters in Education. I love math, but unfortunately not much of the rest. I overuse emojis and exclamation points (and I’m not sorry about it!). Music feeds my soul. Oh, and so does dessert. I am dark chocolate and sugar obsessed.

I believe life is short but it can be sweet. That we have to surround ourselves with love and share it with others. I believe in lifting each other up every chance we get. And think that when you find your people, you should hold them close, and always, always let them know how much they’re loved.
